HeBrews Coffee and Music has been providing Fort Wayne and the surrounding areas an intimate setting for live music since 2008. HeBrews has had hundreds of national and local bands come through our doors.
We try to have 2-3 shows a month, but this largely depends on tours and routing schedules. Most of our shows are on weekends, but we do the occasional mid-week show.
The vision behind what we do is simple. We are here to provide a vibrant and relevant community for bands and our guests. We strive for a community not only based in music, but more importantly Jesus Christ. We are here to provide a venue and a coffee house that is focused on ministry and pointing people to Jesus through music and fellowship.
Our heart is to see the youth of this generation have a personal relationship with Jesus and grow in His grace. We see music as an avenue to help accomplish this.
Matthew Hawkins
General & Booking Manager
Matthew Hawkins has been the general and booking manager since HeBrews started in 2008. Matthew grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and spent most of his weekends and free time at concerts around the city. Matt said, “I spent so much of my time and money going to shows when I was younger. It was such a big part of my upbringing, and I really loved the culture of passionate musicians and fans. I felt the call to start HeBrews to reach out to kids that were in the same spot that I was, searching for something meaningful. The music we bring to HeBrews, I believe should bring hope and truth to a generation that desperately needs rescued.” When Matthew isn’t working on HeBrews stuff, he is a youth pastor at Harvest Fellowship. A lot of the helpers and volunteers at HeBrews are actually youth group kids looking for ways to serve. Matthew is married to Lindsay and has a daughter named Patagonia. Ross Stratton
FOH Engineer
Ross Stratton has been our front of house engineer for several years. Ross has been running sounds since middle school. He also helps provide a lot of the equipment we use at HeBrews. He is always on a mission to add another sub, which I totally appreciate! He has been a vital addition to the team his heart to serve and provide an excellent sound are appreciated! He is also responsible for the website and some of the other creative aspects of HeBrews. Lynn Graber
Stage Manager
Lynn Graber has been the stage manager at HeBrews for several years. Lynn graduated from Fullsail University a few years ago. Lynn helps provide a lot of mics and miscellaneous equipment at HeBrews. He is a vital addition to HeBrews. When Lynn isn’t at HeBrews, he is most likely at his studio, The Recording House just a few short miles from HeBrews. He also roasts his own coffee.
